TRAVEL INFORMATION
How to reach the university
The mathematical institute is located in the Braconnier
building (in yellow in the plan http://math.univ-lyon1.fr/images/br...)
in front of the tramway stop “Université Lyon 1” line T1
or T4.
- From the railway station Part-Dieu to the
university. (About 15 minutes).
Take the east exit “Porte des Alpes”, next the tramway T4,
direction “La Doua, Gaston Berger”.
You need to buy your ticket at the selling machines.
- From the airport Lyon Saint-Exupery (LYS) to
the university. (About 60 minutes).
Take the shuttle Rhonexpress (http://www.rhonexpress.fr/) and get off at
the last stop « Lyon Part Dieu ». From this stop take the
tramway T4, direction « La Doua, Gaston Berger ».
You need to buy two separete tickets for the Rhonexpress and the
tramway at the selling machines.
- From any subway station to the University.
Get off at the station “Charpennes” on the subway line B. There
you can continue with either the tramway T1 (direction “IUT
Feyssine”), or T4 (direction “La Doua Gaston Berger”), using
the same ticket.
