In a surge of motivation (and anger further to reading unbearable comments to an article on a spelling reform) three years ago, I set about writing down what I knew about the tumultuous origins of French spelling. The result is a blog on which I wrote a handful of articles (a bit higgledy-piggledy) and which hasn't evolved for two years. I still harbour the hope of getting back to it someday though.
