Simon Andréys

I am a Phd student in mathematics applied to quantum physics, under the supervision of Stéphane Attal (Lyon, Institut Camille Jordan (Lyon)) and Claude-Alain Pillet (Marseille, Centre de Physique Théorique). I work on the Markovian approach of open quantum systems, notably on the continuous-time limit of repeated interaction systems, with application to fermionic quasi-free semigroups and to open quantum walks, specifically the open quantum brownian motion.

Research interests

  • Operator theory and von Neumann algebras.
  • Quantum open systems, quantum Ito calculus and Lindblad equations.
  • Large deviations and functionnal inequalities.
  • Stochastic processes, filtering and control.
