BRIDGES is a Brazil-France collaboration in Geometry, aiming to advance the understanding of special geometric structures on manifolds and their moduli spaces, with special focus on CR, Sasaki, Kähler, G2 and Spin(7), and conformal geometries, gauge theory, sheaves on threefolds and Bridgeland stability. The main institutions involved are Unicamp in Brazil and the Universities of Lyon 1, Paris-Saclay and Brest in France. 

The BRIDGES collaboration is offering several postdoctoral positions, based in Brazil or France, with flexible start in 2023. Details for applicants can be found below.

Postdoctoral positions in FRANCE

• Profile: Young researcher obtaining or having obtained a PhD in mathematics between January/2017 and September/2023, working in a domain connected with  CR, Sasaki, Kähler, conformal geometries, special geometric structures, gauge theory, see http://math.univ-lyon1.fr/~legendre/grants.html

• Location: University of Lyon I or Paris-Saclay University.

• Type of contract: Post-doctoral position financed by the ANR–FAPESP PRCI project "BRIDGES" This is a research-only position, with no expected teaching or admin duties.

• Duration : 12 to 24 months.

• Starting date : The starting date is flexible, but should be no later than December 31, 2023.

• Salary: about 2500€/month (slightly above 2000€ after tax).
