Maxime TAILLARDAT

I am currently in the third year of my Ph.D. program for the Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l'Environnement (LSCE). My Ph.D supervisors are Philippe Naveau, Olivier Mestre and Anne-Laure Fougères. I am based at the Institut Camille Jordan (ICJ). I am also affiliated to the Centre National de Recherches Météorologiques (CNRM) as a researcher.
My main research interests are the statistical postprocessing of ensemble forecasts (especially non-parametric) and their economical value. I am also keen on forecast verification associated to these predictions. Applications of ensemble forecasts for decision making (eg. in hydrololgy for extreme and rare events) is also a field of interest. To sum up my research interests are at the crossing of environmental sciences and computational statistics.
