Research

My PhD is entiteled "Groupoidal Formulation of (Quantum) Field Theory". As the name suggests it, the goal is to use Lie groupoids as a mathematical tool to generate the symmetries of field theories (in particular, gauge theories). The motivation being that Lie groupoids are finite dimentionnal objects, wheras the symmetries of field theories tend to be infinite dimentional structures. I hope to be able to reformulate the concepts of gosht fields, BRST cohomology and BV methods in the language of Lie groupoids.
