I moved from Orsay to Lyon 1 on September 1st, 2018.

We are launching a new on-line seminar on optimization: le Séminaire Français d'Optimisation (the first talk was on June 10th, 2020 ; we will resume soon after summer).

My book Optimal Transport for Applied Mathematicians was published in 2015.

Workshops, seminars and main occupations during the Coronavirus crisis

Feb 24 : I was in Cergy-Pontoise for Thibault Bonnemain's PhD defense.

Mar 10-13 : I gave a 3h course on Optimal Transport and Optimal Measures in the French Computational Geometry Days at CIRM, Luminy.

Apr 20 : I gave a talk in the colloquium of ICJ. It was on zoom, from the blackboard that I have at home.
May 5 : I gave a talk in the Lisbon Webinar in Analysis in Differential Equations , also on zoom, also from the blackboard.

May 27 : I gave a seminar on branched transport in the virtual tea at ENS Paris (again, zoom and blackboard).
May 28 : I gave a talk in the Groupe de travail en ligne « Jeux à Champ Moyen » (also from the blackboard, but it did not work as well as usual since teams was used instead of zoom).

July 1st : I gave a 2h-lecture on Introduction to Mean Field Games in the 17th e-Summer School in Risk Finance and Stochastics (Athens, online).

Sept 4 : I will give a talk on Sliced Wasserstein distances and flows in the Program on Optimal Transportation Problems, PDEs and their Applications in Image Processing sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (also via zoom).

Sept 7-9 : I took part in the Journées SMAI-MODE 2020, which were finally held online (bluejeans), and was president of the jury committe for the Dodu prize.
Sept 10-11 : I was in Orsay, first professional travel after the lockdown! I visited Q. Mérigot and C. Sarrazin.

Oct 2 : I took part in the PhD defense (online) of Z. Kobeissi (Univ. Paris).
