ERC
I have been awarded an ERC Advanced Grant for my project Everything You Always Wanted to Know About the JKO Scheme (EYAWKAJKOS) which started in September 2023. A postdoc position is now availabl.

RT Optimisation
Three French GDR of CNRS (on optimization, calculus of variations, and game theory) have been merged into a Réseau Thématique which I'm in charge of at a national level for 2024-2028. See here.

OT@Lagrange
I started a collaboration with the Lagrange Mathematics and Computing Research Center, created by Huawei in Paris, for an Optimal Transport project lead by A. Figalli and also involving G. Carlier and Q. Mérigot. See here.

BOOKS
My book Optimal Transport for Applied Mathematicians was published in 2015.
A new book on Calculus of Variations (master-level) was later published in 2023.

Workshops, seminars and activities for the second half of 2026

July 6-11: I was in Athens, for the AIMS conference and take part in two parallel sessions.

July 20: my student Fanch Coudreuse defended is thesis in Lyon.

September 2-12: I am in Bangalore, for a summer school on gradient flows at ICTS. See for my course.

Oct 1-2: I will be at ENPC for the HDR defense of P.-C. Aubin-Frankowski and for a some seminars the day before.
Oct 13: I will be at ENSAE for the PhD defense of N. Vesseron.
Nov 20: my student Nicolas Masson will defend his thesis in Orsay.

Nov 23-27: I will be in Pisa for the traditional workshop on Optimal Transportation and Applications.
