Getting to the Math Department

To get to the campus of the Université Lyon 1 you may take the tramway T1 in direction of IUT Feyssine.
The Mathematics Department is located in the building Braconnier, a few meters away from the tramway stop Université Lyon 1.
The building and the tramway stop are colored in yellow on the map.

From Hotel Park Avenue: take the metro line B at "Place Jean Jaurès" in direction of Charpennes, and get off at the final stop "Charpennes". Exit from the station, outside you will find the stop of the tramway going to University Lyon 1.

From Residence Saxe Gambetta: take the metro line B at "Saxe Gambetta" in direction of Charpennes, and get off at the final stop "Charpennes". Exit from the station, outside you will find the stop of the tramway going to University Lyon 1. From the Residence Saxe Gambetta, you may also walk to the tramway stop "Guillotière" and take a direct tram to go to University (but it is longer than metro + tram).

From Residence Saint Nicolas: you can walk to the tramway stop "Gare Part-Dieu" and take a direct tram to University Lyon 1.

Arriving by plane or by train

If you arrive by plane at Lyon-Saint-Exupery airport, you can use the shuttle express (30 min) and stop at Gare Part-Dieu, which is the main train station of the city. You need to go through the station in order to find all the metro/bus/tram stops.
From the train station Gare Part-Dieu, you may take a tramway T1 to go directly to the campus or you may use the metro line B to get to your hotel.

Visiting Lyon

TCL is the public transportation of the city. Velo'v is a self-service bike rental around the city.
