ANR Project MAS – Model theory of algebraic structures
coordinated by Frank Wagner
Description
The aim of the project is to study algebraic structures in a model-theoretically tame context. We will concentrate on groups and fields and on the way they interact in tame first-order structures.
Topics within the scope of project include:
- Definable groups under generalized tameness assumptions.
- Model theory of measure-preserving actions of groups.
- Algebraicity and transcendence in tame fields.
- Groups of finite Morley rank.
