I have been awarded an ERC Advanced Grant for my project Everything You Always Wanted to Know About the JKO Scheme (EYAWKAJKOS) which started in September 2023.

OT@Lagrange
I started a collaboration with the Lagrange Mathematics and Computing Research Center, created by Huawei in Paris, for an Optimal Transport project lead by A. Figalli and also involving G. Carlier and Q. Mérigot. See here. PhD and post-docs positions are sometimes available, and scientific events are organized.

BOOKS
My book Optimal Transport for Applied Mathematicians was published in 2015.
A new book on Calculus of Variations (master-level) has just been released by Springer.

Workshops, seminars and activities for Spring and Summer 2024

Mar 25-29: we organized in Lyon and Villeurbanne the Journées SMAI-MODE 2024.

Apr 7-9: I took part in the workshop Aggregation-Diffusion Equations & Collective Behavior: Analysis, Numerics and Applications at CIRM, Luminy.
Apr 10-12: I took part in the Optimal Transport Cargese Workshop in Corsica.

May 2-3: I took part in the workshop Variational Analysis, Models and Methods in Measure Spaces at CIRM, Luminy.

May 7: I gave a colloquium talk at CEREMADE, Paris-Dauphine.

May 15; I took part in the PhD committee for the defense of Charles Elbar at Sobronne Université, Paris.

May 20-22: I took part in the workshop: 50 anni di calcolo delle variazioni which honoured the 70th birthday of Giuseppe Buttazzo, in Pisa.

May 31: I gave a talk at the seminar of LJLL at Sobronne Université, Paris.

June 24-28: I took part in the school Vito Volterra meeting 2024, and gave there a 4h lecture on gradient flows.

July 3: I will be part of the PhD committee for the defense of Michele Circelli (Bologna-Barcelona), online.

July 8-12 I will take part in the school Festum Pi in Chania, Crete, and give there a 5h lecture on gradient flows.

September 9-12: I will take part in the fourth edition of the workshop Gradient Flows face-to-face, organized in Raitenhaslach, Germany.
