Projects & Funding

The PREMMOVE Project awarded funding from the PEPR Maths-Vives 2024 Call

We are delighted to announce that the project PREMMOVE – Predictive Morphogenesis and Mathematical Modeling of Vertebrate Embryos –  has been selected as one of the funded projects of the 2024 PEPR Maths-Vives call.

Spanning five  years (2025–2030), PREMMOVE aims to unravel how the mechanical and biophysical properties of embryonic tissues drive morphogenesis and influence normal and abnormal development. The project combines mathematical modeling, artificial intelligence, and developmental biology to shed light on the fundamental mechanisms shaping life.

Coordination:

  • Michèle Romanos , Institut Camille Jordan (ICJ) - Lyon
