Practical Information

The meeting will take place at the Centre International de Rencontres Mathématiques (CIRM), from Monday, April 30th after 9 am to Friday, May 4th 2012 after lunch (see the program for details as they become available).
Registration is to be done online, at the CIRM website (on the right of the page, click on "registration form"). At the time of registration, please take the time to email Lionel Nguyen van Thé, if you have not already done so, to describe quickly your situation (student, postdoc...) and your field of research. A short research statement should also be sent to Julien Melleray.

The registration fee will have to be paid online at a later time (information on the procedure will appear in this space once it is available). The fee will cover food and lodging from dinner Sunday to lunch Friday (included); at the moment we can guarantee that it will be below 205 euros, and it will probably not be much lower. Those who wish to stay at the CIRM until Saturday morning will have the possibility to do so, but we will not be able to cover the corresponding expenses (between 75 and 90 Euros, depending on the kind of bedroom).

At the time of registration, we ask that each participant send a short resarch statement (preferably in .pdf format) to Julien Melleray ; those will appear online here.

For students who are members of the ASL, there is a possibility of obtaining a travel award, see here for information on the procedure. Please pay attention to the fact that the deadline for asking for such a grant is three months before the meeting. In our case, that means that applications should be sent before the end of January 2012. Participants may also be eligible for an INFTY travel grant (next deadline for applications: April 1st).

We will also be able to provide partial financial support for some participants who are not supported by their institutions. Budget for this is very limited, however; those who wish to apply for such a grant should contact Todor Tsankov , with an estimate of how much money they need, and ask their supervisor to send directly a short reference letter. The deadline for support applications is February 28, 2012.

The meeting begins on Monday morning, but arrival on Sunday night is possible (and probably more convenient). Once you are registered for the meeting, you will need to fill in some information on the CIRM webpage, in particular it is important that you state there whether you will need dinner on Sunday night.
